How To Cook The Perfect Chicken Breast

I'm quite certain we've all had terrible poultry experiences.

Hard, rubbery, or chewy chicken is actually the worrrrst.

I'm here today to ensure that never happens to you again- because I care about you.

Also, I care about you cooking and enjoying real food- without sacrificing taste and texture.

So no more rubber chicken!!!

This recipe is foolproof.. It's incredibly simple and the best part is that you can use it during meal prep on the weekend! Just throw this together, pop it in the oven, do some laundry or prepare other meal prep items while you wait, and then 30 minutes later you have perfect chicken you can use throughout the week!

I use this chicken on top of salads, in wraps, in soup, and in stir-fry recipes.

Chicken is truly versatile and is a great protein to have on hand.

The single most important thing to understand about buying/eating meat is that it is an ethical and moral decision that should not be taken lightly!

I personally believe in eating meat as part of a balanced diet, but there are many facets to this conversation.

Conventional factory-farmed meat is full of dirty stuff- like antibiotics and artificial growth hormones. Even worse, the animal is treated inhumanely and lives a very sad and often painful existence.

I will not support these practices, or consume these animals that will cause me to have serious health complications!

This is why buying clean meat is so incredibly important.

In this video I show you how to make these chicken breasts that turn out juicy, flavorful, and tender.

But, I also talk about why buying clean meat is so important, and why spending the extra money saves you money in the long run.

I am passionate about the topic of meat, and although I don't dive deep into eating meat vs. not (that will be another video for another time!) I do give you the need-to-know basics about purchasing/consuming meat in a healthy way.

Preheat oven to 400

Rinse and pat chicken breasts dry

Add olive oil to coat the bottom of a pan

Lay chicken breasts in pan with space between each breast

Season generously with garlic powder, paprika, chili powder, onion powder, sea salt + pepper!

Oil a piece of parchment paper and put it oil side down on top of the chicken breasts. Make sure you tuck the paper all around the chicken, so that the moisture and flavor is locked in during cooking! Cook for 25-35 minutes or until 165 in the middle
