Vegan Coffee Creamer

I'm a black coffee kinda girl.


I wasn't always though.


I used to take double cream with extra caramel syrup in my iced coffee.


But once I started cutting out dairy and sugar, I couldn't have those things anymore.


Over time my taste buds didn't crave the sweet flavors the way they used too,

and I started drinking black coffee.


I should also note that I've been a barista for 5+ years, and so finally being able to taste the actual coffee notes without sugar masking them was a nice change.


Also, my fellow baristas could finally stop judging me ;)


All that being said, I don't drink coffee everyday and when I do it feels like an indulgence, and sometimes you just want some creamy sweetness with an indulgence ya feel?





So I made some creamer with no dairy or refined sugar..


and it is the bomb diggity.


Try it!


It will last for two weeks in the fridge.







Ingredients:



1 can unsweetened full fat coconut milk

4 tablespoons pure maple syrup

1 tablespoon vanilla extract




Blend all ingredients together until smooth and enjoy with a quality cup of coffee :)
